Alexis Moore

Hello, everyone! My name is Alexis Moore, and I am excited to return to Oakdale Elementary as the Math Coach. I began my career at Oakdale as a 2nd grade teacher, where I taught for five wonderful years before moving to Van Wyck Elementary. There, I served as a classroom teacher for several years before spending three years as an Instructional Coach. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Winthrop University, a Master's degree in Instructional Coaching from Clemson University, and a second Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. I am passionate about supporting teachers, building meaningful relationships, and helping every student and teacher reach their goals. Outside of school, I enjoy going to church, playing the guitar, spending time with my family, and shopping. I am honored to be back where my journey in education first began, and I look forward to an amazing year at Oakdale!
