Academic Interventionist - Dr. Monique Kirk

Dr. Monique Kirk 

My name is Dr. Monique Kirk and I have been an educator since 2004. I have taught Kindergarten through Second Grade, and I have also been a Literacy Coach, Interventionist, and most recently a Dean of Student Leadership. I am excited to return to the role of an interventionist and provide academic support to students. It is a joy watching them grow as they grasp and retain what they are learning. 

Academically, I have a bachelor's in early childhood and a master's in educational leadership(K-12). I also have an Ed.S. in literacy(K-12), and a doctorate in organizational leadership. 

Personally, I am married to C.T., who is a fellow teacher and also a Pastor. We have three children who are ages 25, 18 and 13. I love to bake, nap, read, and have a newfound love for Pilates. I am thrilled for a wonderful school year ahead!
