I am thrilled to embark on the 2026-2027 school year with you. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Appalachian State University, a K-6 elementary education certificate from Pembroke State University, and a Master’s degree in Library Science from East Carolina University. Additionally, I have achieved National Board Teacher Certification in Literacy.

I am married and a proud parent of four children. This year, I am excited about students discovering new books and growing as a reader, researcher, and creator.
