Welcome to Oakdale STEAM Elementary School—Home of the Green Dragons!

It is with great enthusiasm and gratitude that I welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year as the proud principal of Oakdale STEAM Elementary! I am honored to join this incredible school community and look forward to building meaningful relationships with our students, families, staff, and community partners. I have served in the profession for 17 years in various capacities as a teacher, Instructional Coach and Assistant Principal. I am a proud graduate of Winthrop University earning my Bachelor's of Science degree in Elementary Education, Columbia of College earning my Master's of Education degree in Divergent Learning and finally earning my Master's of Science degree from Capella University in Leadership in Educational Administration.

At Oakdale, our theme, Rooted in Purpose. Rising in Excellence., reflects who we are and who we aspire to become. We believe every child has unique gifts, unlimited potential, and a purpose to discover. Together, we are committed to providing a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment where students are challenged to think critically, lead confidently, and grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Our dedicated educators work tirelessly to create meaningful learning experiences that inspire curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and innovation. Through strong instruction, high expectations, and genuine care for every child, we will continue to cultivate a culture where all students feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.

The success of our school is built on strong partnerships. Families are our children's first teachers, and your involvement plays an essential role in their success. I encourage you to stay connected, communicate openly, volunteer when possible, and celebrate the many accomplishments that make Oakdale such a special place.

 Together we will learn from each other while honoring Oakdale's traditions and building upon its strengths. Together, we will continue to create opportunities that prepare our students not only for academic success but also for lives of purpose, leadership, and service.
